She married financier Cem Habib in 2004. Together, they are parents of three kids. In response to a job opportunity her husband obtained, Stanbury relocated to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in 2016.
After spending Christmas together as a family, Stanbury and Habib announced their split after 15 years of marriage.
In 2014, Stanbury joined the Ladies of London cast. She returned for the second and third seasons, however, it was cancelled in 2017 after she moved to Dubai.
